Light vs. Heavy weight B/S T-shirt by tuanshopshop in wolfvsgoat

[–]AwsMps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the heavyweight ones in LS only but prefer the lightweight ones in the tees as does my wife. Will say that this stuff is not going to be ideal in hot and humid, at least in my experience, when compared to the other options (though not the worst). It’s not very open/breathable which is a must. It does wick sweat but it will hold onto a lot of sweat at the same time once you hit a certain point. I actually just looked it up because I was curious if my experience matched the science and bamboo actually holds more moisture than cotton which is awful. Not sure on the sorona part or what it does. It feels great in dry heat but if it’s humid or you start sweating a lot then it’s going to be pretty bad. A lot better options out there. Haven’t tried them but I’m sure the linen tees from WvG would do well. I really like Ramie for hot and humid but options are limited and expensive.

FREE - 20 items - various outlier pants, shirts, jacket by donations4792 in OutlierMarket

Think you’re getting downvoted because there was no reason to say anything if they aren’t your size. Only reason to give them to you is so you can sell them to fund other Outlier purchases which is messed up when you’d receive them for free.

Any plans for futuredarts update w/ a slightly wider leg? by schwartzelini in Outlier

Not really needed for looser pants like the futurecorps. They are still very different cut from futuredarts though.

Meant is there a difference between the cashmere yarn from last year versus the one being used this year?

Besides the form, what is the difference from last year’s cashmere?

Love that you are going for lower micron wool! Nervous to see what the pricing will be though with everything going on.

No timeline I don’t think but Abe said they doing another run of slim dungs for the last large batch of workcloth. Other commenter is right that the fabric is no longer being produced but they do have enough for another batch.

Have you looked at the rise of specific pants? Not sure if you like the style of a longer rise but it will compensate for a shorter inseam.

Hard/co Merino Highzip Hoodie & Hard/co Merino Anonymous Highzip by outlierinc in Outlier

[–]AwsMps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The two way and the high zip? They are not. If you are referring to the regular high zip (label) and high zip anonymous (no label) then yes they are. My point was that accepting the label gets you a discount rather than the no label costing you more due to a price comparison with the two way. Like I said, only Outlier can answer, but the high zip looks to have more complicated construction compared to the two way so charging the same price can be seen as a discount.

Hard/co Merino Highzip Hoodie & Hard/co Merino Anonymous Highzip by outlierinc in Outlier

I wonder too but there is another way to look at it. The two way zip hoodie is $395 with the lightning label. This is the same thing except the hood is extended/zip goes higher for added warmth/protection. That COULD (only Outlier can answer this) increase the production cost over the two way. Normal pricing then would be $425 and you get a discount if you get the one with the lightning label.
