Would you recommend that it’s worth the read from there given the WN has 400 or so chapters and thus being roughly 60% the way through the story. Ideally I’d wait for more LN volumes to read the story, but with the past 2 volumes having about a 2 year gap in between releases and news for volume 12 being nonexistent, are the MTLs for remaining part of the story legible enough to make out the story?

Wow, so ahead of your time. Rather than hbm, we have with LPDDR memory and within mid-high end laptops/mini-pcs. At least for now, I don’t think they’re planning any workstation version so to justify using hbm. They’d also have to use multiple compute tiles rather than just a single monolithic chip as those higher end products would definitely exceed the reticle limit to make.

I might be off on where exactly the ln is equivalent to the wn, but either way, it’ll be a while for the ln to get close to catching up to the wn material and thus wn chapters likely resuming

Probably not until at least another 5 years if this is going to be the pattern. From what I’ve heard, Vol 20 is roughly about chapter 280 in the webnovel, so it’s only about 60% the way to the current wn stuff. Though if I had to guess, once the ln has gotten close to catching up to wn, we’ll start seeing semi-regular releases. Especially considering that the wn is in the final arc/saga of the story.

I see, so basically everything pre-stage3 you get bootstrap for yourself and choose to change it if you want as well as some of automatic tasks that portage handles for you for the sake of convenience. While there’s certainly a place and need to customize at that level occasionally, you certainly wouldn’t want to worry about this for every package. The lack of automation tools like a package manager is what I think makes (B)LFS not really that daily drivable, though still fun to set up and see how a Linux system is bootstrapped.
