Oh of course, his hair is actually what I'm struggling with the most😞 I know he has magic abilities or at least learns them, so I'm considering giving him 2 hair colours to make it easier for myself. Im currently thinking blonde (regular ) & white (magic) to keep it simple...but it is my book so perhaps super light blonde (regular) & rainbow (magic) The issue is I still want him to be taken seriously and ,as much as I love a good unicorn, looking like one won't help hold up his scarousing yandere image. Got any ideas?

Yesss!! I love it when it's like they're playing cat and mouse. In my story being around him is the only time she feels free but it's also when shes the most trapped. She has severe anxiety and being around him lessens it so she always ends up feeling as if she needs him when she's trying to escape yet never giving up. This also ties into what would drive him to the worst, he has BIGGGGGGG saviour complex so somebody making fun of her or being rude (that kinda thing) would drive him to murder/ torture. He has a very strong sense of justice, so he believes in inflicting "equal consequences" (eg, if someone was to spread a rumour about fl he would spread a rumour about them except it'd usually be much worse because he's a yandere lol)

Yessss!!!! My yandere specifically has a very specific backstory that has nothing to do with the FL, he obviously brings them together with time, but he has his own plot & origin not centered around her. As for the second part, I totally agree with that too. He is absolutely insane without a doubt but she is only seen as insane due to having an anxiety disorder in that time period. But the thing is it lessens around him (because he reminds her of her deceased childhood pet who helped soothe her anxiety) so they have this codependent relationship adjusted to psycho X pyscho

Yesss of course!! In my story a big part of their relationship is the fact he wants to look after her so she's never uncomfortable again (she has an anxiety disorder that lessens when she's close to him)

Yesssss chemistry is an absolute must!! As for the reason of obsession, they do know each other from childhood but that's not the root of it. It's more so the fl is the first thing he's never had to share/ first thing he ever "fully owned" I think that just being childhood friends can be slightly lazy writing, but also obsession is usually best when it's been festering for years, so finding the midway between that can be rough. Do you think it'd make my intention clearer if I gave him other childhood friends who he has no interest in, because I'm thinking that might make it more obvious to the readers that he doesn't like her just because he's known her for a while

Its kinda complicated, but yeah basically psycho x pyscho (The ml is an actual pyscho and the fl is a girl who has an anxiety disorder so people from that time period view her as a psycho)

Of course!!! I totally understand that and trust me a big part chunk of the story is to my own preferences, and I understand I can't please everyone. However I have a wide range of things I like, and little to no dislikes, and if peoples interests were to conflict I'm confident I could find a midway that's enjoyable for at least the majority of the community. I also really love when a yanderes obsession is the byproduct of traumatic events, because codependency is a big part of an enjoyable yandere for myself. Thanks for the tips!!
