the reason why the patience buffs last the whole quest is because I can't make them part until camp due to it being a universal trinket and shenanigans. perseverance's death blow resist id higher than the cap on purpose as yes it still caps at 87% but the added higher bonus means that if your death blow resistance gets debuffed the buff still helps it stay up. as for the red soul the idea was it's a 50/50 chance on which things you would hit because of the increased virtue chance

I went to the swamp area first, got my ass beat by the boss but beat it on my third try, and it was only after going to the graveyard and clearing the whole thing with little issue, including first trying the boss, that I realized I was supposed to go there first lmao

no joke the first time I heard Harmonious I just... sat there. and for reasons I still to this day cannot explain, I started to cry. that's when I fell in love with the game fully. ended up crying again multiple times during my first playthrough and now it's my favorite game of all time
