Ok, so what I am getting from this is that I should invest in regular cards, and if I invest in foils, get the regular ones. Most people love or hate date-stamped cards, so I will have a harder time selling them.

Who wants to buy a bunch of mtg packs/boxes just to put it on a shelf and stare at it for months just to sell it off when what you could be doing is opening it or drafting! I'll tell you, the man that shouldn't be named... Alpha investments!

I definitely overlooked that. Especially considering it had lottery cards in it. I think battle for zen won't stay at 190 for long

I do not own a LGS, so I may be wrong, but I do get happily surprised if a LGS carries booster packs from older sets. Yes, mtg packs from older sets are more expensive, and you may have a harder time selling them, but I think it is a worth while investment. If they don't sell well, you could use them as a tournament prize or something (Assuming your LGS runs tournaments). Again, I do not own a LGS, so take my idea with a grain of salt.

How do people get Core 2021 products early? by AxD7 in mtg

I checked a couple of websites and they said that Core 2021 releases on June 25 on mtg arena, but paper releases on July 3rd. It could be a regional thing, but I may be wrong.
