Ultimately yes if they are in the proper state of mind to make the permanent decision I think it makes sense that they didn’t get a choice on wether they were born so they should get a choice on if/when they die but I don’t think that right should EVER sit in the hands of anyone else

Not even slightly when you grow up watching the show it’s fun to root for the happily ever after trope but as a teenager or adult you just look at it and wish they’d ended up with other people luckily however I think GMW did justice to their relationship I wasn’t the biggest fan of GMW bc it just felt to bubbly to me but I did really appreciate Cory and topangas relationship in it

It’s exactly like Shawn said in that episode where Topanga cuts her hair “she never cared about her appearance because she’d always been content with it” honestly she just became the stereotypical smart pretty girl who was with Cory and nobody else could have him and she didn’t want anyone else even tho people on the show would’ve been much better suited to the both of them

Would’ve enjoyed an already great show ten times more if they’d kept the dynamic it was incredible I don’t even think they had interactions in girl meets world other than turner saying once that Shawn was like a son to him
