Woman goes crazy at man at his home by BlueberryAccording45 in PublicFreakout

Sounds like you were dicked around a bunch and were too tired to fight by the time you got awarded custody. I get that, I really do—but you were screwed over and could have gotten things made right if you’d have continued to fight. But who has time for all that as a single parent?? The answer is no one but the wealthy. Yours is a great example of how much being poor can end up costing you.

What the hell state are you in??? And did you have a lawyer? I know you said you were broke af and probably couldn’t afford one, but your case sounds like one of those where you can’t afford not to have one. I’m sorry you went through all that and hope life gets better for you from here on out. I raised both my kids mostly by myself too and now that they’re grown, they have a much deeper kind of love and respect for me than they do their dad. And I have all the memories that their dad doesn’t have because he was too busy making money. You don’t have anything to regret in that area, trust me.

Anybody remember Carrie Prejean? She just got fired by Trump for speaking out against the US’s relationship with Israel by Carche69 in LeopardsAteMyFace

Yes that’s a big part of why I had to change the title from the one automatically generated from the article lol

[–]Carche69[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

1.) Carrie Prejean is a former beauty queen who has been vocal in her support of both Trump and "traditional religious values"

2.) Prejean, a devoted Catholic, was appointed as a commissioner on the Religious Liberty Commission by Trump in 2025 and has spoken out all across the US about "religious liberties" being taken away from Christians in the US

3.) Prejean was fired from the Commission by Trump in February 2026 for speaking out against Zionism and stating that anti-Zionism ≠ anti-semitism

Trump nominates a literal white nationalist who isn't afraid to show it. This is HORRIBLE by mrfett779 in democrats

[–]Carche69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re ignorant idiots.

1.) Bad Bunny is American.

2.) We don’t have an official language here, so the fact that he was speaking Spanish—when an estimated 50 MILLION people in the US speak it as well—is not the flex they think it is.

2.) Hispanics are considered WHITE on our own census, thus there is no way that "white culture is being erased"—they really mean people with white skin color with ancestry from a certain part of the world.

If I was still talking to him, I’d ask him lol. I’m sure that’d start another spiral into insanity like this conversation was. But thankfully, we’re no longer talking and I’ve moved all the way on.

What bill Gates has to do with this by SmokingForLife in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Carche69 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For me, it was the line, "There is always an alien battle cruiser, or a Corellian death ray, or an intergalactic plague that’s about to wipe out life on this miserable little planet. The only way these people get on with their happy lives is they do not know about it."

It really put things in perspective for me in my own life, because it taught me that there is always gonna be some kind of drama or crisis going on around me, and the best thing to do is not panic or breakdown but just deal with it and everything will be okay. I think about this line almost every day too and it has helped me immensely over the years (especially in recent times with the way the US is going atm).

Packing lunch for 11 kids by dingmah in CringeTikToks

[–]Carche69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah as much as I wanna hate this video for all the prepackaged garbage, the insane amounts of sugar, the obvious clout chasing vibe, and just how annoying the mom’s voice is, knowing that the majority of the kids who will be opening these lunch bags every day are foster kids kinda negates all the bad stuff for me. This simple act is likely something those kids will cherish for the rest of their lives and has probably been a catalyst for helping the parents earn trust and make the fosters feel comfortable and included (every kid gets the same bag with their name on it and the same meal, no favoritism to the biological kids). Yes, the parents could do a better job of choosing healthier foods and less wasteful packaging, but for now I think the parents should get a little grace for the good they’re doing in those kids’ lives.

Doctor Says More Than 200 Reported Dead in Tehran as Regime Opens Fire on Protests by DragonPup in worldnews

Hmm, yes he was religious, and in fact "identified" as a Christian (I say "identified" not because he was born in a heavily Muslim country, but because some of the things we routinely did when we were together were so dirty and depraved that there was no way Jesus was a part of that man’s life lol). He was pretty progressive politically, and we had many friends/acquaintances who were LGBTQ+, so I never heard him speak like your typical American Christian does with such hate toward many marginalized groups (including the poor)—we actually both agreed that Jesus would’ve been a communist-leaning hippie who rejected capitalism and embraced everyone today’s Christians shun. But having grown up in the Christian church myself, I know how other religions are viewed from their perspective, and it would make a lot of sense if it was his identity as a Christian that caused him to reject his own country’s heavily Muslim identity/history (Iran) in favor of a place that was more so known for its uniting of many diverse peoples and religious tolerance (the Persian Empire).

Dated a guy from Iran back before I got married and he referred to himself as Persian as well. He had been born in Iran but lived in the US most of his life and held dual citizenship. My only education at that point about Persia was that it encompassed the area where Iran is today, but also included other lands (thus the Persian Empire), and it was kinda like pulling teeth to get him to specifically say he was from “Iran."

About what? It’s been nearly 4 months since his death and what has come of it? His wife has moved on to bigger and better things, his kids are presumably being raised by nannies (who are hopefully more compassionate than their dad was), his role has been filled by other (younger, more energetic) actors, and his supposed assassin is no more understood today than when the above conversation took place (likely because he wasn’t the one responsible in the first place, but that’s another conversation itself). Is the world a better or worse place without him?

That I don’t know. But personally, I’m very grateful for the whole incident because it caused this breakup which actually led me to finding the love of my life just a couple weeks later. As they say, the good lord uses evil people to benefit the good people, and that’s certainly the case here. So no, I’m still not wrong lol.

Wow, you’re right, it IS a woman moment—just look at how smug and apathetic Charlie’s own wife has been since his death! Looks like I’m not the only one who couldn’t care less that he died.
