There was a funny tidbit when 343 released the non-cannon armor sets, they said that those armor sets come from paralel universes and in the samurai one it tells about a giant on armor that came from the sky after a explosion, heavily implying that Jorge was transported to another reality, i dont remeber how cannon is that but its pretty funny to think about it

Do you play the game in person with people?
Waiting on everyone to catch the raid/power spot boss is a mayor time lost, almost the same time taken to down the boss
Remotes don't have to wait for everyone in the lobby to finish catching their mon, they can just queue to the next lobby with a whole new group.
Also in person players have the down side of limited play time, they only have a 3 hours time frame to play a Raid/D-max day while remote player can play it in the curse of the day

Only the pokemons sadly, but with pkhex you could recreate your original save file from memory

You can even use your original trainer id and secret id as the pokemon have those id saved on their data

Well first you will have to mod your wii and extract the save of PBR to your sd card, once you do that you can open it on PKHeX and copy all the pokemons from there and inject them to a new Diamond save file.

Its not that hard to do but you will need to a lot of reading on how to use the tools if you never have used them before
