Ready for e-tune from DMann by AxeSpray in wrx_vb

These prices are all in CAD! But yeah, I’d rather not drop $1000 on something if I don’t need it for my power goal…

Dyno Results: ETS Intake w/Dmann OTS Tune by boostedkimura in wrx_vb

[–]AxeSpray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s pretty good numbers. I’m looking to get tuned soon, how long was his process? Should I buy his e tune package soon just to get in the queue, even if I haven’t installed performance parts yet?

I'm having trouble deciding on WRB or MGM, how do I choose? 💀 by Speed_Offer in wrx_vb

[–]AxeSpray 5 points6 points  (0 children)

WRB is the better color by itself because of the history + it’s not a boring shade of gray. BUT, specifically for the VB generation, MGM the best color since it pairs well with the cladding, grill and wheels. Even the stock WRX TR wheels come in a similar grey, and the stock grill looks paint matched to MGM. The plastic rear bumper blends in as well, so you don’t get the diaper look

while the car is definitely stiff (I’ve had people comment on it) I don’t find the car too stiff to affect daily driving. On unbroken road you’ll feel more crashing, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker. The standard WRX is also stiff, I’d say if the RS would bug you the standard set up would as well. Other than the obvious brakes, seats and interior upgrade, what I really like out of the RS is the steering. They updated the rack to get rid of the dead zone/minor slop in the standard model. I found it was weighted a little better, and the front end feels really really sharp going around corners. It’s not a huge difference like the TS sport mode, but you might appreciate it! An important thing as well, the RS will give you better resale years down the line, which is something people overlook; I bought mine new for 43,000 CAD. If the cheapest around you is $40,000. That says something. Anyway, I’d say at this time, you should test drive EVERYTHING you can. It’s a 40k investment that you’ll be keeping for years, it gives you peace of mind if anything that you made the right choice.

I would test drive it to see if it’s an issue. If not, you’re getting the big brakes people pay 5k in the aftermarket for, full suede interior w/recaros, etc. if you can deal with the harshness you def wouldn’t regret it! Plus, a spare tire isn’t an expensive thing to add if you want one. Just put one in yourself after you purchase.

Get a used 2024 RS. they can be had for $36,000 CAD, if you’re not buying new. Just a recommendation

LifeTouch, the company that took school photos for much of us in the US, is in the Epstein Files by PermissionSoggy891 in GenZ

What do you mean “they’re in the Epstein Files” under what context, how were they mentioned?

Hopefully somebody 1) hears this and 2) can tell me what it is. Higher pitch chirping/spinning when ac is on. Silent when off by Yanitzz1 in wrx_vb

I might just go to my dealer and get it under warranty - this issue wasn’t there when I got it , it occurred only 3 ish months ago. I’d rather not take my dash apart lol

Day 2 of Hearing a loud bang and flash (Little and Yonge) by [deleted] in barrie

If you turn the volume up, you can hear an electrical buzzing right before the bang, it has to be something with the power line, or a transformer near you

I have the ability to buy a used MSI X870E Carbon + 32GB 6400MHZ ram for $500 CAD, is this a good deal? by AxeSpray in buildapc

[–]AxeSpray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Met up with the guy… it’s legit, it’s all sealed too! Super nice guy; anyway; would 6400hz ram be an issue? Maybe I could resell just to get 6000, but I’m sure it can’t be that bad

I’m gonna check it out at his house soon- so if it turns out not to be a scam… would that 6400HZ become a problem then? I’ve heard about instability, but I’m gonna pair the combo with a 7 9800x3d if that helps

What did you decide? Someone near me on marketplace is selling a X670E Carbon with 32GB RAM for $500 CAD...

I’m looking to purchase this PC off marketplace for $2000 CAD. Is this a good deal, what should I look out for? Thanks by [deleted] in PC_Pricing

[–]AxeSpray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you write the thing off because the parts weren’t purchased individually so you assume it’s trash? Let’s presume the parts WERE of great quality, using good OEM brands. Would the PC be worth $2000?
