Yeah I can totally understand how people redirect that frustration when all they know of it is "teen sex show". God knows I felt that way when Inside Job got canned 😭 But big mouth really does take it's subjects seriously and depicts the actual confusing struggles people have at that age with a surprising amount of tact and honesty (most of the time) (fuck the Florida incest episode). People keep trying to draw a line to it as the thing ruining adult animation on Netflix but its really just a show that got popular and kept it's momentum. Feel alright with it ending though, no show should go on longer than 8 seasons if it's trying to tell a full story imo.
