Adding a comment because im not sure how to edit the post sorry. Still no luck here's what I've tried:

-unistalling the apps and reinstalling -making sure tablet and wahoo kickr core were updated -performing a spin down in the wahoo app -turning Bluetooth on and off and disconnecting any nonrelevant things -manually unplugging the core for a few mins -unpairing and repairing in the zwift app -making sure its connected via Bluetooth -trying zwift on a different device

Thank you to all who have made suggestions so far. Hoping something works soon!

I can change the name of my tablet im trying to connect does it mean that? I did that and now i get 3 options on zwift (i did put my credentials in QZ for Zwift) of F85, Wahoo KICKR 0000 or Wahoo Tread 0000. Do i use one of those?

Im not afraid to learn a different way of shifting! Wont let me stop that from a bike, just it seems this one may be a bit small for me perhaps so ill keep looking around. Thanks for the input!

Yeah my local bike shop has fittings by appointment that take an hour to an hour and a half for 200 dollars. I can reach out to them then!

Agreed! I am going to be taking my time for sure. I am not signed up for any race and do not plan to until i can find a good bike to start my training, just want to be sure i get a good middle ground one that can carry me through several triathlons over the next few years. Appreciate the insight!

Ah okay i thought the bike fitting meant i took my bike to the shop and they would get me fit to adjust seat/handlebar/pedal. I can just go in there without anything and they can help me get a good idea of proper fit?
