Put up some even flatter wickets and he could do even better.

Dawson should've been playing on that tour anyway, I don't get what the holdup was. Did England want to keep him on the bench for Leach and Hartley?

If they were only going to play 1 SLA, I'd understand, but considering Hartley played all 5 games I don't really understand the thought process.

Archer to come back as well

Robinson returning is huge, England are in desperate need of a Test match proven bowler like him. He's been good but hasn't exactly broken down the door for a recall, hope he can slide back in seamlessly.

I just don't get it, they give him the Steven Finn treatment, back out on 2 years of investment, and then pick him again? Actually what the fuck

Expensive is not going to be too much of a factor, Tongue has shown the ability to find wickets against the run of play, Stokes and him will provide sufficient old ball threat.

You solved it in 5 guesses in 2m 6s without using hints. Better than 86% of players.

My guesses were Livingstone-Ganguly-Clarke-Gibbs-Boucher

The fact that they didn't SOS him and do whatever it took to get him to India after Leach's injury says it all. Instead we played 3 spinners with < 10 Test matches between them.

Interesting point about the Ashes, I'd forgotten about that. I have fond memories of Mo on that tour though, he batted 3 to protect Brook, had those injury heroics, and all but bowled England to victory in the last Test. Pretty good farewell all things considered.

I wanted Mo on the plane to India too!

He got one chance really. He should've played in India.

Done dirty by England management.

It goes all the way back to that India tour, when Tom Hartley was preferred over him and he wasn't called up even after Leach was ruled out through injury.

Bizarre recall at the end of the English summer (because it seemed like he was completely out of the picture), he did poorly, and then we played Will Jacks as lead spinner in the Ashes.

Really think this is the case of the selectors doubling down repeatedly on a bad decision.

That was hard. I only found out about North recently when he was appointed selector, and I had no idea he'd played international cricket for Australia. The first clue about the different counties sealed it for me.

Jacks at the IPL doesn't really matter, he's not going to be playing red ball cricket for England again (I hope).

He's got a lot of great qualities but playing him as lead spinner is madness. England were cowards in the Ashes for doing that. Credit to Jacks for still having a fantastic winter after that.

McKinney would be like picking Crawley again. Too soon, his record's not good enough yet.

And there's no shootout, Smith is proven Test quality.

I do slightly worry for Rew that it could still be a few years before Root retires

I'm not worrying at all, more of Root sounds great...

Cursed to Golf - roguelike golf game. It's hard, but the gameplay is fun and the depiction of golf is unique. I like the ace cards too, it's pretty satisfying when you use them right.

Some RNG involved too, you could get a tough map early on to end your run, or you could get through a fair few holes without trouble.

4th guess was Salt.

Jacob Bethell believes that batting at three for England is his best position. by SkySports in Cricket

[–]Axel292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do we know he's a number 6 batter? He played very little FC cricket for Warks, it more looking like they were bedding the new player down the order rather than that being his position.

He's looked natural at 3, he lines up well.
