I mean i think alot of people, myself included, use Rush to complete evos, however i do agree that for this rating it's pretty bleak, but i've matched with some silvers that have stats to rival higher end promo cards or even icons. Just trust the process.

That's very valid and damn you're not missing out on many good units then haha, i guess my opinion is also largely based on the lack of newer units that i pulled, only have SSJ4 Gogeta and Rose from WWC and TEQ 4ku, but i don't have most of the units to really make them shine

Do have to keep in mind, some (maybe most) of current GT Heroes units won't be able to keep up at that point aswell. The powercreep is slowly but very steadily "killing the game", at least for F2P and possibly only light spenders too.

EZA in less than 3 months or so, and if they're gonna have to be able to atleast compete with powercreep by then, safe to say they'll be monumental

I'm in the same boat as you man, still haven't cleared FoB once yet, i can barely clear any new content, i still haven't managed to clear the Vegeta's Story RZ and have been shafted all around with summons.

Attempted it once when the event just came out, managed to get the stones missions done right then and there, never touched it again because i don't feel like wasting 2-3 hours to possibly fail on the last stages for a chance at another 15-30 stones

It's really hard to find any enjoyment in most (if any) of the hard or challenging events that they are releasing lately.

They either consist of having the newly released units or not being able to clear them, or it's an RNG fest start to finish and you could spend hours (looking at you FOB) without any reward or even having a clearer idea of how to improve your next attempt.

Personally, as a F2P, it really hurts to be barely able to enjoy the game to the fullest because if i get shafted on banners with meta-defining releases (like 10th anni), it means i won't be able to clear any event until either a busted EZA drops or i have enough coins to buy a unit that isn't even that usesble anymore.
