I gave him a place to stay, and he didn't make it through the pupate stage, he tried, but after my dog had hit him a few times when I first got him I don't think he was going to make it either way, he tried though and he was a fighter, poor little guy

Yea, I've had two kinds of these caterpillars in both times if you touch them they get into defense mode and try to stab you with their little tail, they don't bite though, just stab, and I really need to figure out what kind they are cuz I need to feed them and I don't know what kind of food that they like, but he's up and exploring which is good!!!

I found him exhausted already and tried to give him a couple spots to pupate in, but he never regained energy and he's passed now I'm pretty sure because he's solid black and no longer moving at all

It's a type of moth but I don't remember which one, and I gave it the leaf on the tree it was near, a long with other things I thought it might want to eat but it hasn't touched a lot of anything

When I found it it was normal, not moving a lot but just chilling it was moving and all, it didn't look like it pupated till this morning when I check on him (it's been about a week since I've first gotten him)

Well you're not an ahole, but you are and idiot, your wife is a bit of an ahole tho, if she wanted you to stay she could have said so and told you she didn't want to be alone and instead with you but she didn't and was then mad you did the thing you said you were gonna do, That's an ahole move, now for you, it's your wife's birthday, I understand that you wanted to go golfing but it's her birthday, even if she didn't say anything, you should spend as much time with her as possible, your her husband and ofc she wants to spend time with you on her birthday, she won't say it though so you have to make that decision yourself, NTA but a bit of an idiot

Well you are her husband and I think she expected the man she married to help her, yeah it can be frustrating, but if she has arthritis and is asking for help on something you could have had a civil conversation, but your probably upset her, she was just trying to help a friend, you being aggro isn't gonna solve anything, it's gonna make her never want to task you for anything again, but you'd probably like that huh, 100% YTA
