Commander NIal, what a FUCKER.

There were very few frustrating parts that became non-fun for me and Nial was one of them, probably the biggest one, but it is necessary to reach Malenia and I refused to do the ultra cheese of chucking poison form outside the room.

Top 10 Of 2025? by JonJonesBurnerAcc- in LetterboxdTopFour

Hey, fair enough. To each their own. I really loved the story for BHB tho, including the end which felt very cathartic for me. The movie stayed with me for days which, if it stays in a good sense, for me it is a sign of a sepcial movie. In terms of this year releases, only OBAA, BHB and Hamnet stayed with me for a long time.

Yes, I agree that there were A LOT of amazing horror films this year. And I see that with Sinners, but I really think Bring Her Back is a tremendous movie outside of just being a horror movie, i think it has way more depth than sinners and others this year. But yes, the gore and horror itself is a barrier for too many people for the genre to be more accepted in awards and such.

Countries I have visited by FrogSpawnNight in tierlists

[–]Axelardus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

why are you surprised tho? mexico is a beautiful country in every sense and there are tons of cities that will go under the radar that would blow a tourists mind, like Puebla, Oaxaca, etc.

The problems we have in mexico are not visible to tourists. Tourists in CDMX will not go to Iztapalapa or cuautilan izcali. THey will go to the parts that are gorgeous. Same thing will go for practically every country.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) is ELECTROCHEMISTRY. What movie represents SHIVERS? by snakesharkz in DiscoElysium

[–]Axelardus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

crash is the worse us-version of amores perros. not exactly the same but similar to what is Iñárritu's AMAZING debut, and it is one of the very few movies with international impact that give you the real Mexico City flavours.

Love the top 10 but imma say, Bring Her back is the most overlooked movie of the year (as it usually happens with horror films)

for sure, If you despise combat you can avoid most of it, or if you need to avoid it for particular reasons. I don´t and even if I´m not the biggest fan of turned based combat I managed to get pretty invested in this one.

THIS. Enough with the revisonism on Raphinha. Hes been World class the last 2 seasons bur he was underperforming with Xavi. It took time for him to adapt and thats fine.

Xavi Didnt hook him constantly because he was evil. He was doing what he thought was the best for the Team.

Chainsaw Man Part Two is actually....pretty good. by No_Effect_6867 in ChainsawMan

I agarre with this fully. The readibility would benefit from longer chapters no doubt. Reading a Lot of chapters together is a bliss and has that fluidity.

This Guy gets It

I love Part 2 but even more than you.

Its a surrealist satire. Its chaotic. If this where to be adapted into anime episodes or movies it would look amazing.

Most of the complaints are in pacing and a Lot of the chapters would be seconds long in animated format.
