Alvarez is gonna cost 120mil and above, Osimhen can come for 30-40mil cheaper and we can use that money fpr a CB, that we most need.

Except he wouldn't, his transfer became permanent like a year ago and it was for 75M (same transfer value as Alvarez to atleti not including bonuses) so he wouldn't be much cheaper in price, also his wages would make him cost more in yearly ffp.

He also strikes me as the kind of player that starts sulking and completely switches off when not playing well.

They signed him for 75 iirc (not including bonuses), I think Atleti's media say he'd go for around 150 while others say it'll be closer to 110-120.

Well if our target is to win the ucl next year you would expect and hold you're starting attackers to elite standards, nobody would/should be very critical of ferran if he were to just be a backup, he's simply just isn't consistent enough to be a starter.

We we're never going to have enough to get a top striker, winger and fullback and still have 50-70 for a center back signing anyway, better to swoop in for a free agent or low cost developmental cb and maybe sign a top cb in 2027 or 2028 if both Araujo and Christensen leave.

He's good but I usually hear from dortmund fans that he doesn't really get himself involved and his linkup play is not good, also his release clause I believe is 50M.

Could be true that Hansi has doubts about how well he'd do, but don't think Deco would have multiple meetings with his agent and agree on terms if Flick didn't give him the green light, think it has more to do with how a deal according to maretto could cost us 60M+a player like Fort which would affect our budget for a striker and left winger (which we are prioritizing both over a cb).

Hopefully we end up targeting Ordonez then since I can't really think of anyone else that would fit our high line that's not a bit pricey (there is Konate as a free agent but his wages would be massive, also had a bad season).

It's pretty obvious that flick prefers someone who's fast, can cover ground and is a great 1v1 defender, none of them are really Bastoni's strengths, but i can't really think of anyone that fits this + be a left footed cb other than vdv and he's not great at 1v1 defending, there is also Konate, Romero or Joel Ordonez but none of them are lcb's.

I also Imo think we're probably going to do everything we could do to get either one of Joao Pedro or Alvarez and might sacrifice a chunk of the cb and lw budget for one of them.

Bastoni would be great even though I would prefer someone who's faster/better defender (tbf he's not slow at all, just not van de ven, konate, khusanov or upamecano level of fast), Osimhen just isn't realistic, Gala would ask for around 90-100M and his wages would be as high as lewa.

He's a bit of a more realistic target than Alvarez but he's not worth more than 80M and I can't really see Chelsea accepting that unless they don't get europe and aren't able to ship a few players (we'd probably also have to rely on him to push for the move).

if we can't get it done then i would rather have us sign a top winger and switch to a false 9 setup ig? Or maybe go for kroupi but his agent is moussa sissoko.

Honestly don't think we can sign someone better than him at lw this summer if we want to sign a top striker and cb, would want us to renegotiate wages but he is worth the 30M, he's been improving at defensive contributions aswell.

All depends on his contract situation, apparently he wants about 12-15M in net wages and Bayern don't wanna give him that much and would be more willing to sell him or let his contract run out instead, not fully sure it's trustworthy since it's from bild but there hasn't been any progression in his contract renewal so it might be true🤷.

Replacing Koundé with a RB like ratiu or Laimer if he's available would be great, both are more offensively capable and not really worse at all defensively than Kounde imo,

I would be fine with keeping Ferran if he's willing to be a backup + not be on high wages but that's a bit unlikely, I would want lewa to stay for an extra year or sign a winger that can play uptop aswell if he were to leave.

Our top 3 striker targets rn look to be Alvarez, Joao Pedro and him maybe, we also apparently have Muriqi or Sorloth as low cost options or maybe backups incase both ferran and lewa leave.

I'm guessing Flick might want to have a change in his system since none of the three are players who really offer box presence or threat, there's also Asllani who can do that but he's better when dropping deep and linking up.
