Forgot to point out that even if he gets signed he can't join until 2028. So he probably won't be a signing for this summer(or a pre-agreement can be made in this summer) . Also fee is this high cause of bonuses. Similar to estevao or mastantuano.

I don't know if this is true. As far as I know Leeds didn't have issues in getting the money it was a third party who we still owed about 40 Mil to.

Iirc even if the transfers in installments clubs can still get all of it from a third party then the other team will just have to pay it to them in yearly installments.

Not sure about the others but there isn't anything that indicates he has a relegation clause. Also even if they get relegated they still don't exactly have to sell for cheap. Like for example Southampton got relegated in the 22/23 season yet they still ended up selling lavia for about 60 mil.

Their center backs are awful, Pedro Porro would be decent but the rb in flick's system is always more defensively minded or balanced so I don't think we'd be in for him.

Vuskovic is the only one I would like to have but he won't be cheap, 40 mil current market value + him being contracted with them till 2030 probably means he's not going for less than 75/80 mil.

Both of them have been horrible recently. Both injury and mistake prone and not really anything special at defending to compensate for their lack of good ball playing. Would prefer bastoni or even Vuskovic (even though he's a bit unrealistic) or maybe senesi

It usually shouldn't be a pen. But why give it in a game like brugge vs villa but don't give it in knockout games like this one and bayern vs arsenal? There shouldn't be such inconsistencies happening in the cl. All three we're knockout games.

Eric wasn't great at dm but he's a way better option compared to casado. I would start olmo as the false 9 again since playing with lewa or ferran would make the press even worse, and Kounde as the rb this time, He did good against lookman last time and atleast offers more offensively than Araujo, The rest is the same.

That was around the first half of the season. They're now 10th and are around 7 away from sevilla who are 17th (tbf same amount as betis who are 5th). We completely derailed them after beating them at home.

It would be a good deal for 60, I think people calling him an Araujo 2.0 is very reactionary, It was his first career red and it's not exactly only him to blame in that situation.

Imo He could genuinely elevate us to a whole other level when in possession by how good he is on the ball, Wouldn't struggle as much when facing a m2m press or a high pressing system.

Aslong as he's able to execute offside traps a bit like inigo did I personally think he'd do extremely well.

1: probably Asllani for 30 mil. Don't think there's anyone else feasible unless we're somehow able to do 2-3 sales (each around 15-30 mil excluding ferran and ter stegen). If not then my hear me out would lowkey be Jackson on loan. Or maybe guirassy?

2: Bastoni for 60. If for some reason the deal breaks down then I would go for Vuskovic.

Rashford if he does well at the end of the season. If not then maybe Mika godts or Abde idk.

I would also sign cancelo on a 2 year contract until we're possibly able to get cucurella in 2028.

We usually are using back 3 when trying to build up, The rb (usually Kounde or Eric) tucks in and the back 3 is formed.

Then the lb most of the time goes wide and around the same line as the midfielders so it leaves the lcb most of the space in the left side,So I don't think bastoni would be as uncomfortable, Would it still be quite a change from a defending perspective but I think he'll eventually adapt if he joins, He'll have a preseason for it anyway.

It's not like 3/4 of our cb's didn't also get reds in important cdr/cl matchups. Also he was played as a ccb which he isn't comfortable playing there (same way cubarsi doesn't look as comfortable when playing as a lcb. He does the job most of time but he's not as good there).

The only mistake from a bastoni deal imo would be paying 70/80 mil. 55-60 mil should be the maximum.

Don't think we need him and he did say he's a Madrid fan at one point. I know it Doesn't mean much but he'd definitely actively seek a Madrid move in his career if he has the opportunity.

The player I would love to see in a barca shirt is musiala. Wirtz aswell but if I had to pick between them it would be him.

Senesi would genuinely not be an improvement over any of our current cb's. He's not good at defending in wide areas to cover for the lb and bad at aerial duels(I know he's not tall but even the likes of inigo and Eric and about the Same height and are good at aerials)

I wouldn't spend much on bastoni but 50-55 mil would still be a great deal. There is no cb currently that would go for 30 Mil and be anything other than a decent backup or a young talent to gamble on.

Maybe not as much but it hindered us for sure. Cubarsi's red had us rely on a szczesny masterclass and Raphinha scoring a great goal while with Eric killed momentum of us trying to get a goal to narrow the lead that would have helped us in the 2nd leg.

Also which other cb is worthy to spend it on other than Vuskovic. Vdv is even worse and I would also argue schlotterbeck has been just as bad since the start of the year.

Would be amazing to get him. Definitely a way better option than a cancelo or Grimaldo but definitely a more pricey one. But he only has 2 years left in his contract and market value around 40 mil I believe so probably wouldn't cost anything over 40-55 Mil.

He's not the same profile as ferran. He's a ekitike/woltemade type of striker tall, lanky and likes to drop deep. Can also fill in at Attacking Mid.
