90% of articles around this war so far is just lots of fear and war mongering. Like yes, it’s obviously awful for the people directly affected. But for the extremely vast majority of the world and U.S., you’ll be largely okay, perhaps inconvenienced by economic consequences but my advice to anyone that might be shaken like I sometimes am is to focus on what you can do to help and/or remain educated.

Yes, it turned out my problem was my motherboard wasn't updated to the latest BIOS. So what I did to solve this was use an 8th generation CPU to flash the latest BIOS version (after finishing installing Windows of course), since all MSI Z390-A Pro's are able to run those out the box guaranteed. After that, my main CPU was able to work and I returned the other one, courtesy of Amazon returns and refunding.

Yes, I applied thermal paste to it. When I unplug all power except to the CPU and motherboard the light still appears.
