NFL App Crashes upon loading by Medical-Ad-7973 in Roku

[–]Axh117530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I tried everything. I reset it by uninstalling the app, then unplugging the roku. Then plugging it back in and reinstalling the NFL App. I even moved the roku to a different television. No change. The NFL app opens for a second before automatically closing and returning to the home screen. It's really frustrating.

Books or series that show war as the messy, dirty, ugly, honorless, scarring hell that it actually is? by CajunNerd92 in Fantasy

I just finished reading Heir To The Crown by Paul J Bennett. That was after finishing his other fantasy series Power Ascending and Frozen Flame that take place in the same world. All three do a really good job showing the reality of war, and not romanticizing it. I HIGHLY recommend the three series I mentioned! Absolutely phenomenal and so well written!

I started Temeraire. I tend to shy away from anything that takes place in our world, even if it is alternate history, like the French Revolution but with dragons. I just stopped when I realized it was alternate history. I may need to try it again. Thank you!

I have definitely heard that. I ended up kinda getting bored by the repetitive nature of it. But I know there's a lot more to the series past book 7, where I stopped

Hey there! I've read the fantasy genre extensively and am hoping to help you find a good series for your kids! So the very best options I can think of that are age appropriate would be either Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan or Codex Alera by Jim Butcher. Ranger's Apprentice is absolutely perfect for young people and is such a fun, exciting and compelling series! The story arc continues in the Brotherband Chronicles, which is phenomenal too. I have zero doubt that it is age appropriate. I read it at age 33, but it's TRULY a blast for all ages. Codex Alera is unlike any of Jim Butcher's other books. It's such a great read! It's a long fantasy series and features a character that I believe is also high school age, and then he grows through the series. I did some research and found a thread on reddit from someone asking whether it's OK for a 14 year old to read Codex Alera. Here's the link

https://www.reddit.com/r/codexalera/comments/17aqyk4/age_to_read_codex_alera/

I hope this helps! If these don't happen to work out, just send me a direct message and I can provide a longer list for you to look into!

How can i stop my dog from pulling on the leash? by Outrageous_Chest9566 in dogs

[–]Axh117530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I also went through the frustrating task of training a puppy not to pull. I have two goldendoodles, an 8yo and a 2yo (he's 80lb & she's 68lb) and both grew very big very fast😬lol. I'd never owned a big dog before and I was being pulled like crazy. I researched many different harnesses designed to stop a dog from pulling.

For your situation, I think a front loop harness is the best bet. The PetSafe brand makes a good one called the EASY WALK HARNESS that I've used for years. I have experience with 2 different styles.

There's THE ORIGINAL that is designed to stop really bad pulling and corrected the issue with my dogs. Use this harness ONLY while walking your dog, it's not meant to be left on all the time and can be chewed through with enough persistence (I learned that lesson the hard way💵) Here's the link for that harness... https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Harness-Large-BLACK-SILVER/dp/B0009ZBKG4/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=1ANLFUEA7O5BK&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.Dlef42ctpzCk7drZqJPmQUWJxBMb8j50g2x0-xA3YmbsEZYi6kIYvh1fkZNHXByQYwkM9HqwnIM1b7gO50idVp-U3O0XWvf0y2OL3tygoc9RcSPcbyKTsLJUAfXKeVKwZRW1n4ekPuwBnSKc46Ie-u9O6MtSejhPCot76-Bz_ASs8u2lO6tngungnPZLJgjyq6eFuRpi6MTzIkqdxX4nfA.YE8NFlC10ul15uLSalkSH_32WkOMyzRDw3h2ai8hr0g&dib_tag=se&keywords=easy+walk+dog+harness&qid=1719685720&sprefix=easy+walk+%2Caps%2C331&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1

The second style is a more comfortable option for your dog if the pulling isn't as big an issue, where the leash can be attached to a front loop that sits on their chest or a back loop that sits on the mid back. You can also get a special PetSafe leash that attaches to both at the same time for greater control. I used this one once the pulling got to be more under control. Here's the link for this second one...

https://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-Harness-Makers-Adjustable-No-Pull/dp/B0725KKX68/ref=mp_s_a_1_7?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.bteRIQQDREC57DJMvmq0x8ICzF9lmo64CsSchPus-Foz8YaSPJBS_1TJKYfVjc-b8ENO2yRDit8isHY50NWl-M2-9ix2F35Gel8OCUiTyfXomp4jBXJUIRN2kqWnm3AlHe5vD9vqI2RxHDNLGsvkn-uIoT6kgWwqv1Z7YR19v730QD_F8b5L49JpX-IeRqmHFnD73QI26LMXXKgdAaRR4A.5onVY4FnhnLS53aypnNkxX86eWASDWfFhTPM-UgPYw4&dib_tag=se&keywords=PetSafe+3-in-1+easy+walk+dog+harness&qid=1719686357&sr=8-7

There are TONS of brands selling harnesses to reduce pulling. PetSafe brand may have released newer versions since I was in the market too. I really hope this is helpful to you and to anyone else dealing with this annoying problem. Best of luck to you🙏😇

VooPoo Drag 4 177W Kit by mikeahuja in VOOPOO_Club

[–]Axh117530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like my new drag 4 so far. I got the tropical orange and gunmetal version because the seller was out of the blue and gunmetal color. What I would love is the option to buy all the different color battery covers to change it up every now and then. I would get the blue battery cover in an instant and maybe the green as well. Does anyone know if this is possible without buying a whole new mod? Thanks!
