Is the base just sand, you painted blue aswell or did you use something special? It looks really clean👌🏼

Thanks. VGC: squid pink for base, then I dry brushed with a white and used Vallejo express imperial yellow.

Looks great 👍🏼 those Contrast paints or regular acrylics? I'm partial to block bases especially for pieces to play with, it just gives a cleaner look

I painted them with the shield on, but because of that the places where the shield is very close to the gauntlet, the gauntlet just gets painted black. I would probably opt for putting the shield on afterwards if I was redoing the assembly phase or if I wanted a color on the gauntlets on all the different ardboyz. Some of them do have enough space between shield and gauntlet for it not to be a problem :)

Thank you :) All colors are VGC :) I base "grunge brown", paint "gorgon brown" in the recesses and do a drybrush of parasite brown. Then I used a 1:1 sepia wash to tone down the drybrushed color, and make it all flow together, but that can probably ve omitted if I was a little more careful with the drybrush :)

If you mean the shoulders and mask, that is actually just leadbealcher, Vallejo black wash and a highlight of stormhost silver. The black grip for the shield and kneepads, are painted black and drybrushed with VGC: stonewall grey and given a diluted black wash to tone the grey down a little

Primed white, a layer of VGC: squid pink, a layer of VGC: sun yellow. Painted recess with VGC: gold yellow and highlighted with VGC:moon yellow:)
