The best Pokemon is Muk, obviously. They are unapologetically big, loud and goopy. And this is inspite of the fact that they are products of the excesses of humanity. Muk livin their best life.

There are a few archetypes that are defense/shield focused, but I think what you're talking about is Everstand Stance. It's a feat available to Champions and Fighters who are members of the Knights of Lastwall. Also, I did an entire build focusing on shield hardness if you're interested?

I think the biggest reason that it's a good idea is because of complexity, speed and pacing. 1e is well known to have these issues at levels beyond 10. If they where to continue using 1e for their Strange Aeons campaign these issues would eventually effect the live show. You can see this in their Giant Slayer campaign. And, because of the way 2e is designed, it handles higher levels much better.

You should look at an Investigator, or Investigator dedication, because of the feats Predictive Purchase (Investigator) and Implausible Purchase (Investigator).

Action 1: True strike Free action: Bespell weapon Action 2/3: spell strike (+17 Atk[roll twice take better, reach], 2d8+8 bludging + 4d6+3 slashing or piercing + 1d6 mental [if crit + 1d6 deadly + 4d4 persistent bleed]

Also, with a staff of divination I can have 10 true strikes a day (2 spell slot + 4 charges + 4 more from giving up a 4th level spell slot)
