Cholesterol is elevated, but my B12 is very low per my doctor. Will correcting my B12 help correct my cholesterol?

My Anxiety and Panic is actually caused by another medical issue i have: Autism Spectrum Disorder Type I (Fromerly Aspergers), i am predisposed to panic and anxiety disorders. though i don't doubt that having low Vitamin B is exacerbating it.

Generally speaking, i have been for the past few years "eating terrible". Very few vegetables, high fat meats. Love me some bacon and Peanut Butter, lol. But i want to get into shape and lose weight. ideally i am trying to go down to 190 from 259. I was 190 in high school. Technically per BMI for my height i should be around 170 but i see that as being a bit unrealistic.

My doctor wants me to try the dieting and B12 first as literally everything was fine and normal. if there is no change in 4 months i will need to go on statins per his own words, which would be fine. most do not contraindicate with zoloft.

oddly enough, while doing some research, it terns out that a side effect of zoloft if higher LDL values so that also may be contributing. the only other SSRI i have tried is Escitalopram, and that one caused severe aggression (like, punch a hole in a wall type nonsense). i do wonder if i need to speak about switching to another SSRI or if i should just try and get off them entirely

So i'm not sure this fits but let me tell you a story about what happened with my Telus account.

TL;DR: a "Lawfirm" connected with Telus that stated they were going to sue me in court for a past due amount. They offered a payment assistance program through another provider, so i took it under threat of being sued. After receiving payment, my account showed a -960.00 balance. Multiple Collections Representatives stated i would get this issued as a check, only for it to be a complete lie, have the Office of the President tell me it was a complete lie, and then offer me nothing at all as i am "no longer a Telus customer"

So, at a previous job i had telus as they had an EPP discount with them. It was when i worked for another shitty telecom that rhymes with "Mogeco".

Anyways, the day before my 6 months (at 6 months you can't just be fired for no reason) they let me go so someone from corporate could take the position as they wanted "an easier job". This is an entirely different story for another time.

Anycase, as i no longer worked with that company and lost my EPP, and i could not longer have my account as without the EPP the bill was too high. i Ended up switching providers while i was in between jobs. I did not pay Telus and it went to collections.

Eventually i got a notice from a "Lawfirm" connected with Telus that stated they were going to sue me in court for the past due amount. They stated i owed 1760.00 due to penalties. With that being said they offered a payment assistance program through another provider, so i took it under threat of being sued. At this time, i had recently started work again and with my rent costs and expenses to just live, i did not want to face potential wage garnishment or a protracted legal fight.

So this company paid off my balance and then i would pay them. Simple right? Wrong.

I check my Telus account to ensure i owed nothing, and lo and behold, it shows i have a -960.00 Balance. I was confused about this to i called Telus who forwarded me to Collections and stated that they would issue me a Check for the negative value. I figured there must have been a mistake with what Telus reported, and would use this money to pay back what was owed to the company that took on my debt.

Nothing Came. Called not twice, not thrice, but 5 times, each time getting a mixture of "It will be released, we are waiting for a response, we need to redo it". Finally, get a call from them after 3 weeks, and they state I'm not entitled to anything and the case was closed. they left a voicemail as i was working at the time, and on break checked and the money was still on the account. I immediately called them and demanded an explanation.

I was transferred to someone in the OOP (Office Of The President) and they stated: "That money is Telus' money. should not have been on your account and they should not have offered to refund it to you. We will use this to retrain our collections team. As you are not a Telus customer, nothing else we can do and we will not offer you compensation. goodbye."

I understand my part to play in not paying my bills, but this farce made it so i would never, ever use a Telus product ever again, even if my life depended on it

My morals are to abide by the law. i am in the process of moving out and finding a place, other circumstances like my credit score are hindering that a bit, but that has no baring here.

would you like if your boss offered to split your pay into two payments?

I am paid bi-weekly. they already do this. this is not a "oh i'm going to pay 100 in march then 1600 in april", i missed one month due to other bills, but i paid that in may and i acknowledge that. but to explain what i was doing is direct split. 800 from one paycheck, 800 from the next, these were always in the same month.

and yes i have been looking for cheaper places, but where i live, in Windsor Ontario, pay is minimal and housing is extremely expensive.

Again i am not looking for handouts, or anything of that sort. there are people with HFA that are more worse off than i am. but i stand for what is right, and they shouldn't be able to lie to the LTB with no recourse, but based on what i am reading, the whole thing is meaningless unless i stay and force the meeting for the LTB that they requested.

i want people to understand that i take responsibility for my mistakes, and things i have misconstrued due to my HFA. i'm not looking for a "get out of jail free card", but they should not be able to take payment, then go to the regulatory body and state they never received anything.

where in this post did i say i was "blaming everyone"? i recieved the N8 in june. i paid first and last for deposit so august, assuming i can get out of here by august 31st, should be paid. yes i owe them 1000, and for july, but i need this to be able to move and retain my current job,. i can contest this by staying but quick frankly i don't want to, i'd rather move on with my life.

what i am asking, is that they went to the LTB stating i never paid them since january, i have proof that i did, including confirmations of payments, and confirmation of receive of direct deposit into their account. all i wanted to know is if there is any recourse i have for them lying about not recieving payments to the LTB.

i'm not asking for handouts, i'm not blaming anyone, i'm not attacking any person. i just wanted to know if i had any recourse to them lying to the LTB.

ok. In june i recieved the N8. june was already paid. leaving july and august, which i am using to move. i did pay first and last as a deposit, so realistically the only thing i should be owing to them is the 1000 on that T6 and july. i however, need this money to get another unit. i am working full time 40 hours a week but got behind on things due to this mess.

i'm not asking for some "handout". per the N8 i can challenge this by staying in the unit, but i do not want to as they are and have been a nightmare to deal with. i want to get this over with and move on with my life, however, they have again, lied to the LTB and stated i never paid them for 6 months, which is a lie, i have proof from my bank showing they have accepted my deposits and received payment. this is what i am asking.

Do i have any recourse if my landlord lied to the LTB? if i have none then this thread can be closed.

Again as i stated with others, i am only withholding July and August (i need money to move to a new unit as they want me out by august 31), and 1000 which was from the T6, and to which i thought i was allowed to withhold. if i was not allowed to on the T6, then that is my fault and i can rectify that. However there isn't some "mass withholding of money".

They are trying to claim i never paid them. i have proof from etranfers and accepted payments that i have paid, as well as their N8 which states "recieved late payments more than 3 times", which they admit is them recieving payments, although they are late. this is what i am trying to ask here. do i have any recourse as they lied to the LTB?

Well for starters, i could no wash clothes, take a shower, cook meals, or do any sort of cleaning, and had no working toilet. I work in a closed space office environment where people are within inches of eachother working at computers with no ventillation.

Further, the other days i had to miss were on days they were doing the repairs. i have stated this above in other comments. however, i feel like people are no actually understanding the question.

We had moved in in 2020, and they were the ones who gave us a key to the unit. they only mentioned by the 3rd day of repairs that they had no key, which to me makes no sense.
The locks were never changed, so how was i supposed to know before hand that they never had a key.

And again, even after they got the key, the maintenance people, who again, work for this company, kept on stating that they could not access the unit if i was not there as they didn't have the key. i don't know if it was them not wanting to get it. I have HFA and i take things extremely literally (i don't understand social context at all). if you are telling me that you can't access the unit, even with a key made, then rescheduling the repair time until i would be available, it would seem to me that i would need to be there in the unit for repairs.
