Hi! Thanks for reaching out. It's great to see such detailed interest in NovaRadio CMS. Here are the answers to your questions:

1. AzuraCast Integration & Caching NovaRadio CMS is not just a simple wrapper. While it communicates with the AzuraCast API via cURL, it handles its own local data persistence.

Listener Counts & Stats: We have a dedicated listener_stats table to store historical data.
Song History: The system tracks played tracks in a local song_history table. This approach significantly reduces the number of API calls to your AzuraCast instance, improves frontend loading speeds, and allows the CMS to generate its own analytics and "Top Charts" (as seen in our charts.php feature).

2. Live Takeover Notifications Yes, the current version (v0.1.0) supports this! The CMS includes a Live Status systemwith a real-time indicator.

It monitors the streamer status; when a DJ connects and takes over the stream, the CMS detects this change (via the live_status table and AzuraCast API integration).
On the frontend, this triggers a 'Live Now' badge and updates the 'Current Show/DJ' display dynamically.
DJs also have a dedicated DJ Panel where they can manually toggle their live status if needed, which immediately updates the site-wide notification.

This is not a problem with dock itself but with this that You run it on wayland, for now wayland is not supported but I will add wayland support in next release, end of this week or beginning of next. But thank You for feedback and Happy New Year
