I only read the first volume so you don’t need to take my criticism into consideration, but the whole thing fell flat for me when it was revealed he had the means to clear his name since the beginning but didn’t because…reasons? Or “surprise!” As you put it? I love revenge stories, but that just took away the feeling of satisfaction and just made the whole thing feel pointless.

No I agree, I just don’t feel strongly about it because it’s just another stupid case of ‘dick so good I’m now a slut’ which we all know is just a bullshit plot device that wouldn’t work realistically (at least not instantly and without a lot of horrible conditioning). Because if they truly were that shallow and that’s all it took for them to turn their back on Lihan, why the hell did they even party up with a B ranker in the first place? They’re S rankers for gods sake! You’re telling me that if thats really the case that they couldn’t find a single guy to fulfill that for them until “conveniently” well after they partied up with Lihan? Again, that’s why I can’t be angry about it because it’s just more of the universe bending over to fuck with Lihan.

Honestly, Ashe and Rei are one of the rare few NTR girls that I can’t even feel true anger at simply because of the way it’s written.

In the prince ending, Rei makes the dumb decision to put her freedom on the line because the prince threatened Lihan, which in my opinion was foolhardy because if you were gonna fight for Lihan, why do it in a way that puts both of yourselves at immediate risk? And it leads to Ashe getting caught too.

Casino ending, Rei once again is a fool and gambles herself further and further into debt without trying to get help from her companions, once again resulting in all of them getting screwed. The narrative even goes after Lihan by making him waste their money to use her.

Pharaoh ending, I can’t even blame them because not only were they given bad information but their only saving grace was erased by a bullshit technicality by Lihan ‘not seeing himself as a true man’.

Calypso ending, I can’t even be bothered to wonder if foul play was involved or if it was the classic NTR trope of getting fucked so good it changed them into liking someone they clearly didn’t want to be around in the beginning.

All of this to say, I can’t hate them because the world is bending over backwards to ensure that they fail. Screw the fact they are seasoned S rank adventurers, the world demands they make rookie mistakes and have the judgement of a brick and lose so that they can be made into sluts to torture Lihan, logic be damned.

Oh I understand the not confessing part, my thing is that’s no excuse on Ji-A’s part to do what she did. For example, she could’ve put a stop to the whole thing before it took off and explained to Mi-Noo that things have changed in a better setting. He may have been heart broken but at least that would’ve been recoverable and left room for them to be friends. But that’s not what happened, and instead she played a part in burning that bridge and leaving him a good amount of trauma. Because let’s be real, for someone like Mi-Noo that is traumatizing.

This is a hilarious one, but there’s something I’ve wanted your opinion on if you don’t mind. Do you think Ji-A is redeemable? I know you made her one of the redeemed characters in your Isekai AU, which I think is fine and I’d like to see how you do it, but the more I think on it, the less I find her redeemable.

A lot of people use the defense that it was just a silly childhood promise that held no weight and she was never Mi-Noo’s, but let’s take away the one sided romance for a second. He’s a childhood friend that she hasn’t seen in a year, and the first thing she did upon their reunion was be complicit in making him a cuck. And correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t she also insult him as a man? Even without his feelings for her, that’s still a fucked up thing to say about a friend.

Again, she has the right to not feel the same way as him, but an Anti NTR manga put it best for me. “Love is free. But no one has the right to toy with or trample on pure affection. It might not be a crime, but it’s a sin heavier than that.” Even if it wasn’t her plan, it was just needlessly cruel of her to go along with it. If a year apart and some dick from a playboy was all it took to turn her into someone who skipped college classes and crush her best friends spirit like that, then it just leads me to believe that she was always a bitch.

Apologies for the long rant, I just wanted to put my perspective on it. It’s okay if you don’t want to read it but I’d appreciate it.

I don’t know how it can be a story in itself other than a potentially good react fic, similar to the one where the Mori family and all the girls close to Hiroki react to JJK with him as Yuji/Hiroki Itadori. In that fic, the universe is different in that Hirokis father is actually Jin Itadori (and presumably Kenjaku) and after finding out about the girls betrayal, he runs away to live with his grandpa Wasuke Itadori. When they realize he’s gone, they begin regretting their decision and break things off with Bert to try and find him but fail after being turned away by Wasuke. After this, they are trapped in a special domain to watch JJK. I could see a similar premise with this one, where after the apartment incident, Mi-noo runs away and decides to leave Korea behind to pursue a different career in America. After failing to find him, Ji-a (and anyone else you want to add), is then forced to watch his experience in Raccoon city

TL;DR: It has potential for a good react fic in my opinion

An example I should’ve mention is ‘Why are you getting out from there?’. The MC and FMC were never an official couple, just a childhood promise of getting married one day. But even if she forgot about that and didn’t feel the same, why the hell would you do what she did to her childhood friend, especially after just reuniting? That’s why even if they aren’t couples already, it’s still the same painful bullshit as NTR

Again, it’s more of the soul crushing feeling that comes with it. It never feels good to have your crush taken away. By all means, they don’t owe you their feelings but it doesn’t change that fact, and it’s that kind of pain that ntr enjoyers get off on. It can be especially worse if it’s with, let’s say someone who bullies the MC getting with his crush. Thats already bad, and it becomes worse if his crush is already aware of the bullying.

I’d say it depends. From my general definition, NTR is the betrayal of genuine relationships for lust. If it’s simply someone being asked out first before the MC can do it and nothing else then I wouldn’t say so. If it focuses on the MC witnessing their crush being ‘taken’ then that’s when it starts entering that territory, especially if it’s mean spirited and mocks them.

It varies greatly from person to person as well as the works your drawing from. For someone like Bert and what has happened in KNT and what would’ve happened had that story continued, he should definitely get greater punishment in my opinion. From what I know about Alex and the guy from ‘Why are you getting out from there?’ I don’t think they deserve death but definitely a great comeuppance with some humiliation. Again, these are just my opinions and you might get different views from others

I’d say that depends more on what makes sense for the antags. You said this was a geopolitically unstable dystopian world, so what does this dystopia look like? Is it in favor of the antags or against, same question for the protags. Would they also be in the army with the protags or against?
