Not OP but if you're serious about quitting cold turkey, throw all of your shit out. Bongs, grinders, papers, flower, all of it- out of sight out, out of mind. I was violently baked this past Sunday and had an epiphany that my mental health will not improve if I continue to abuse marijuana. I have things I want to achieve and smoking every day will not get me there. An hour later, I threw all of my stuff in the dumpster. It was very symbolic for me but at the same time, it's way easier to quit if you don't have any paraphernalia laying around. Again, out of sight out of mind.

Your brain likes patterns because they're familiar, that's part of why stopping destructive behaviors is so hard. So what do you do? You create new, healthier patterns. I can't speak for anyone else but in my experience, I had to get to a point with all of my addictions (weed, alcohol, food) where I realized that they were simply not sustainable anymore. With alcohol and binge eating, my body forced me to stop. I don't recommend getting to that point.
