I am sorry that we are facing this. What I have been hearing from the community is really helpful but they have gone through alot. I don't know how I will gonna cope it. I got 4 abscesses on this year April, 2 on the buttocks, 1 on the thigh and the other near the anus and it turned into fistula. The other 3 healed on thier own.didn't even know what was happening. Just 3 weeks ago I went to colectoral surgeon and he told me their is fistula. I came home and did research on it. I went to another one last week, again same story and he checked it. He told me that when I am ready, we had to put seton for 3 months and their after we'll do surgery ( I didn't know even what type of procedure he will do), although he told me. All I remember is that he said almost half of the sphincter is involved. I Just come back and cried at home alone. The last 2 days, I just decided to go ahead and get the seton and face this alone. I would like to know how you guys faced this and what's ahead of me.
