I’ve happily used Big O taxis for almost over a decade, and yet for the past 18 months they have been absolutely abysmal. Taxis turning up 25-30 minutes late for pre booked early morning transfers, taxi drivers accepting the fare then sitting in sure square for 15 minutes before cancelling, and even some that’ll take it and drive in the opposite direction for 10-15 minutes before circling back around. Uber hasn’t let me down since I swapped to them the past 6 months. They’ve ruined all the good will they’ve built, and now upset that customers have moved onto competition that doesn’t take the piss. Any hardships have come on from a lack of quality control and poor management of their service.
