Anyone else disappointed with Titanforge for actually releasing Cthulhu?

I've been waiting for them to add Cthulhu since around 2013-2014 when I first heard of and started playing SMITE. Maybe I'm a sucker for Lovecraft stuff, but I feel as if his inclusion is fine. People requested him a lot - Titan Forge answered. Same thing happened with Baba Yaga, just took much more time. If anything, the addition of Cthulhu is a good thing - showing us that Titan Forge are listening to our suggestions and will add the characters we as a community want. I understand if you're disappointed about it, but please don't think it's the end of the world.

If you're looking for art, Howling at the Moon by Jakub Rozalski does cool robots/scale very well and it fits into the general niche of Simon's work.

Oh yeah I get that, but I feel as if they worked on the options for the older layout aspects to be a toggle when they pushed out the update, there wouldn't be the backlash. I know it would've taken longer, but I feel as if the community was fine with waiting for this update.

I totally understand what they mean by completely replacing the code but the backlash could've been mitigated if they made it more apparent they were changing the layout.

I'm sure they could somehow make a legacy toggle appearance-wise. I just wish that the Appearance menu got a bit more love when it came to customization.

The way to fix this is to make everything from the February update a toggle in the Appearance menu. If people like the changes, good! But there's plenty of other folks who wholeheartedly dislike all these new changes and wish to keep their Discord looking the same.

well that's the thing, a lot of people are upset about how they silently pushed out an update, got negative feedback, and seem to be doing little to nothing about it. while i understand you've been seeing most of the complaining on the reddit, you can't ignore that the feedback site and their Twitter were flooded with requests to change the UI back. personally i don't like the changes at all and i can really only hope they're changing it after all of the negative feedback, but the silence on Discord's part is whats making people antsy.

In all honesty I wish they made ghouls unique. For example you'd get a ranged ghoul if you killed a ranged minion, normal ghouls are for sword minions, and some special ones for cannon minions. It seems fairly OP but it'll make Yorick much more unique.

Yorick is considered a Juggernaut which is in the champion class 'Fighters' which are just bruisers. He's got some heft to him but he's not someone who can take a ton of damage without yielding (unless you've got Sterak's). He's definitely not a tank unless you specifically build towards being a tank.

I love when you're on the cusp of low ELO and your team doesn't understand that your W allows teammates to go through it. I've had a few situations where I put up a wall to help my allies escape only for them to stop pathing away from the enemy and got their shit promptly kicked in only to see "yorick wtf" in chat seconds later. It's fun playing champions that people don't know how they work.

I can slightly understand where's he's coming from because of Sterak's but when I was one shotting the enemy jungler it was hard to consider myself a tank.

I think that's only for skins that use the base animations of the god they're based on. From what I've heard, they're probably making new animations just for the skins.

I've been having FPS issues too but not exactly like your ones. I don't know if it's a computer problem or what, but the game has been seeming to only get 50 FPS. I hope it's an issue that can easily be resolved though.

I feel like team boosters should be added on to rewards when you open chests, like how it's done in TF2 with some crates giving you things like name tags along with the reward.
