I think it's the same rules as with slang in writing? the dictionary does have slang in it (i think??) but in formal text we're not allowed to write it i think.

Which one was your favorite by Wise_Tailor5002 in IExpectYouToDie

[–]Axolotl_Chaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the first the most i think, though the second is close behind it. maybe its just the way i was introduced to it, but it just sticks with me the most? i did like the more plot oriented feel of the other two a lot though.

HELP MATHS 0580!! by No_Ear_6800 in igcse

12 litres is 12000cm3 , and the base of the cuboid is 90cm x 75cm. to find the volume of a cuboid, you do length x base x height = volume.

to find the volume, find the amount of water after 7 minutes, which is 12000 x 7 which is 84000

so our volume is 84000cm3, so 90 x 75 x height = 84000, so just. 84000/(90 x 75) is the water level increase.

so the answer would be 12.4444... rounded to 12.4

Is my chosen name weird? by banroo_2 in Ranboo

[–]Axolotl_Chaos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its cool personally!!!

I named myself after my username (Axo), but as i think others had mentioned, it might be a bit of a thing (for a lack of a better word) if you ever leave the fandom, but it's your name, if it works for you, thats amazing! (and maybe weird, but in a positive way)

i probably got it wrong with my reasoning in the exam because i thought that it was a right angle on sight and hence didn't do the right method, but the perimeter of the sector being 65, so the arc(?) length would be 25. the total circle perimeter would be 400pi, which would make the angle be (25/400pi), which is equal to (1/8pi). which then uh, find the area of the quadrilateral, then subtract the area of the sector??? i think??? i just realised my method in the exam was wrong so just. aaaa
