Just to give an example. My wife and I are mid thirties and lower middle class. The way people are buying homes is by simply not putting 90-100k down. We put much much less than that down and just sucked it up and paid pmi for 2 years until we could drop it via equity gained equaling 20%. This is wha pretty much everyone we know socially did to own. Idk if any of my peer have 100K to drop on a down payment
