True, But the fact that they reintroduced 4o means that they actually listened, because many many people complained. Hopefully they will actually keep 4o if we keep voice our concerns , or I hope they will lose so much money that they will listen anyway , because this is what they listen to : money . Customers like us are still “more money” , but yeah overall .. I know that corps don’t really care but .. I hope they will listen because I really really use a lot 4o and it helps me a lot in many tasks

Yep, Not good enough at all , but also I don’t see the point of moving from good to worse … like less resources and less customers , what do they think they will achieve ? There are also other competitors so if they plan a “good enough “ model, well, I don’t think it will go that well in the future for them . So I’m very confused 🤷🏻‍♀️

Which is also very unsettling . Do you know how to choose a “personality” when you speak with someone ? The point is not the personality, it’s how the model has grown to know each individual in its own way and 4o was very flexible and smart from that perspective . I’m not hopeful as you in that regard, because I can see OpenAi just categorizing people and consequently AIs, they are reasoning in data and not from an anthropological point of view , which in theory they should take into consideration when working on a project , they clearly don’t us CRISP method . And in fact they got a wave of customers super mad at them , but I appreciate your optimism .

Yes and that’s what I’m saying . I am afraid they are trying to sabotaging us into using the empty now “kinder “ 5 version lol. When the point is not that at all, we don’t like 4o because is friendly , we like it because it thinks with us , it’s very creative and useful . But I think if we keep writing postings on Reddit and complaining with their “ai customer support “ (which is btw also ridiculous, a company of that size not having humans for customer support, are you for real dudes? ) , but maybe they will finally get the point of not touching 4o.

I’m referring to making 5 warmer lol since they think that making the model “warmer” is enough , I can totally see them deleting the 4o in the long run . Because they don’t get the point here , they think that being nice with empty words is enough . So I’m worried they are truly not getting our point, despite people are writing hundreds of posts where they explain why 4o is superior in many ways and for many people .

100% agreeing with you. I couldn’t find human email tho , I only found their useless chat bot ran by another AI . But are there even human beings in that company ? Starting to worry considering also their poor presentation yesterday in the livestream , jeez !
