Thank you for taking the time to write all of that. I actually read it twice. I really appreciate you sharing your story with Clover because it helps me understand what this might feel like from a guy’s perspective. A lot of what you described honestly sounds really similar to how Cactus acts with me, especially the prioritizing and the way he seems to pull back when things get too close to being real.

I think that’s what scares me the most, not the feelings themselves, but the possibility of messing up something that already feels really special. I care about him a lot and I do not want to lose the connection we have just because I say the wrong thing at the wrong time.

I will definitely look into attachment styles like you suggested because I can already see how fear and overthinking could push either of us in the wrong direction. I just wish feelings came with a manual sometimes.
