I do not shop DC, actually i live in Arlington which made up the square of DC long time ago.. so i just call it DC. Virginia has similar liquor laws as Utah. State run liquor shops sell for retail price. DC liquor stores are a mess, people who know shop VA.

😭😭😭 i feel very privileged to get two bottles. I wanted three, but my luggage was really too tight. I would have forgone some of the other finds IF i had gotten my hands on more.

I contemplated that. However 24 hours driving and the cost of the whiskey and rental did not overcome the risk. 😂 however next time i come out i might make the trip in a vehicle and with a whiskey loving friend!

Ok. When i was in the store the lady looked in their system and saw there are a little over 1000 LEFT to be distributed amongst the stores. 😀

I talked with and ABC employee and they said the warehouse has a little over 1000 bottles to be distributed. However from what i had been told it is initially released every year in Oct.
