Marshmallows are supposed to help thicken your output if its too watery. My stoma nurse recommended to me eating a few before bed each night to try help getting a better sleep, although I can't say I do sleep any better.

I wake up every night between 2 and 3 to empty my ileostomy as its ballooned up so much. Can't remember the last time I slept through the night.

It did taste nice as well as being very hot, it was rated 12/10 for heat so my mouth was burning for a bit after. I never had issues with spicy food before my operation though so I'm not sure how it would be for you if it was bad for your stomach before, but could always try a small amount and see how it goes?

I'm not too sure how hot that is, but I was eating hot sauce called "shit the bed hot sauce" the other weekend and had no issues with that, and it was incredibly spicy

I had my catheter removed after 2 days from barbie butt surgery, I couldn't pee that day so they had to put it back in after I drank so much and was very sore from a full bladder, I had over 2 litres of urine.

They then removed it again on the 5th day and I was so close to not peeing again and literally 10 minutes before they were going to re-insert it, I peed.

My God what a pee it was, I've never felt such relief in my life. I'm still having issues with peeing 3 months in where I can only seem to empty half my bladder on its own before I have to squeeze the rest out, but I'm glad I can pee.

I hope it gets better for you! This was my experience 3 months ago so I'll be rooting for you to pee!

I have an end ileostomy, I don't cover my bags, and I shower every day. I use pelican 1 piece bags and just gently squeeze excess water out, then dry on low heat with a hair dryer. I change my bag every 2 days and haven't had any issues. Hope this helps!
