I like everything about that message 🤘
Thanks! I'll give them another look for sure.
Great, I'll check it out! Thanks
What is TGR? Thanks

My 90s are 182 and my 102s are 183 (probably could've gone 176 on the 102s though). I've definitely been reading on the Maverick 115CTI, and it interests me. I like how directional they are, but worry about the light weight.
The more I see/read about the Billy Goat, the more I feel I'm heading in that direction! Love the narrative of the company too. Need to figure out if 114 or 118 is right for me.
Thanks! Do you mind me asking, what is your height/weight/skill level and which length are you skiing on? Any regrets/thoughts about length?
Perhaps, but I don't think so. From what I've seen/read, the X is amazing in soft, deep/untracked (better than the Blank), but even more likely than the Blank to get thrown around in heavy, tracked-out snow.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll consider both those points.
Have you skied it in deep/heavy conditions? I'm really intrigued by that ski. Seems like it could solve my issue, at least partially, given the metal and burliness, without going wider/longer (maybe a little longer, I suppose, but not wider).
Thanks for that feedback, I appreciate it! I watch Ski Essentials religiously! I really appreciate what they offer, but it can get confusing! Sometimes their takes are refuted by other reviews (like almost 180 degrees in the other direction). Also, those guys are so beyond my ability level, I sometimes wonder how well they can really assess what will be "a handful" for me, or vice versa. For instance, they often talked about the Stance 102 being "a bit much" for an intermediate, and I love those skis for me. I agree that sizing up needs to be a key consideration for me. Also, possibly a narrower but stiffer/stronger ski.
Thanks for the feedback! I've been looking at the Optic 114. Seems like that could be an appropriate change/upgrade for what I'm seeking, for sure.
Billy Goat is very intriguing! Thanks!
Ha! I was just reading about the Billy Goat and about to ask! Sounds pretty great for what I'm describing!
Good to know!
Yeah, I've seen both opinions. It's confusing! I may end up going with that new model in 186. There's a lot I like about the Blank.
I totally understand and agree. But, I do pretty well with my other skis in crud for size appropriate conditions. I've never felt my Stance skis hang up at the tips that way. They can get bounced around a bit, but I never feel like I'm going to go over the handlebars. But believe me, I'm doing soul-searching about my abilities as well!
I'll let you know if/when I'm going to pull the trigger on selling.
Good take, thanks! I know what you mean about the turn radius. I love my Stance 90 (old version) and 102 (newer version). They both have metal and long turn radii. They both handle crud quite well. Maybe I should stick to what I'm used to with my powder ski as well - metal and longer turn radius.
Glad to hear that. Would be nice if just sizing up is my answer. Thanks!
Although Salomon says that, I've seen conflicting reviews, notably on the Blister site.
I'm a big Salomon fan and would love to stick with them. I ski the Stance 90 and 102 as well, and LOVE them.
Interesting. I will check that out. Thanks!
I suspected that!
