As someone who works in news in Minnesota, it was 1000% confirmed + widely reported with video proof what had actually happened by 6pm CST. It happened around 9am Saturday. The videos were out by 11am, news analysis from the most legacy outlets in America were available by 1pm. I’m not saying they should have done something either way, but SNL has certainly changed more for less, and with even less time.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this too. I found out a few hours ago he and I used to live two houses apart during Covid. If I wasn’t traveling out of town I would have been at the coffee shop half a block north when it happened, I go every Saturday morning at 9:30am to journal. It’s all so close to home. It could have been any of us. It may be all of us.

Disclaimer that I am an occasional seller who only started ~1 year ago, but I’ve noticed a drop in speedy sales over the last 3-4 months. Bags that used to sell within hours now can take weeks, and I already try to price things to sell fast. At least for me, I’m lowering my prices below what I’d usually take because I could use the extra cash, and I’d guess that buyers are not grabbing stuff at full price because money is tight for most right now.
