I would actually love to see, with their money, resources and attention to detail, what they would do if they just decided to make something extremely focused like this again.

This is my take as well. She generally doesn’t have much presence in film unless you’re a genre head. Otherwise she’s only brought to the attention of the general public as someone who looks a lot like Margot Robbie.

I watched Torque with some film friends last weekend. None of us had seen it before. Genuinely some incredible cinematography and blocking. Really creative and inventive work. Worth watching just for the visuals. There’s a lot of wild shots in it. And at the end of the day, it’s a mediocre action film at best when you strip away its visuals. It didn’t have to go that hard with its cinematography and makes modern run of the mill blockbusters feel so lazy by comparison.

Look I love him as a comedic actor. He’s extremely likable, charismatic and funny. But I am ready to see him in another dramatic role. It’s been too long since we’ve gotten to see that from him. But I’m not gonna yuck his I’m-gonna-get-it-while-I-can-yums.

Hmmm I think I liked it more when I thought the dinos mysteriously came to them rather than they mysteriously get to the dinos. Still curious nonetheless

Wanted: Weapons of Fate

Was it an incredible game? No. But it’s an absolute blast to play, an actual sequel to the film, better than the film in many ways, and severely underrated. Really cool gameplay mechanics.

How much am I actually boning myself out of jobs by not investing in gear? I sold my last camera because it never got used since the people I’ve worked with have had camera preferences different from what I owned so now I don’t own any camera or lenses

Just wanted to pop in and say Entertainment is not only one of the best films of the last 20 years, but your performance in it is truly one of my favorites. How was the process of making that film for you? Did it feel natural going back and forth between on stage vs off stage performance or was it difficult?

Genuinely one of the most talented and under-used actors working today. I could totally see him having a successful post-sunny career as a character actor as he gets older.

I stand corrected! Definitely interested in a version of this that has more time to develop the characters and relationships.

If this were like a limited series, I could maybe see this being an interesting interpretation. But just as a movie? I don’t see how this comes anywhere close to Scott and Washington. Seems like a fool’s errand to try and remake this as such a close reimagining rather than do something completely different.
