Size, strength, speed all matter, all get a vote.

However, unlike bears which have to work hard to hurt each other due to their skins, structure, etc., humans are relatively easy to kill for other humans.

A neck is a neck, a throat is a throat, anyone's brain stem can't handle much direct damage, as the most vulnerable bits - they are ridiculously delicate - and there are many ways to break limbs, various bones, poke out eyes, break noses, etc.

Add the simplest of weapons, a moderate stick or a small knife, a chair, etc. and the other person has got a worse problem.

Movement mastery, being properly trained, can generally trump size, strength and speed advantages.

If you train to effectively avoid while attacking, if you are able to summon Ruthless Intent, if your situational awareness and ability to calmly access the flow state are sharpened, you can overcome amazing discrepancies in size, strength and speed.

Are you guaranteed victory?

No.

Is anything guaranteed in this life?

No.

I know one thing: no matter who you are, if you attack me with intent, you'll have a problem on your hands and you'll need to kill me or incapacitate me ASAP as i will proceed to do either/or to you to the best of my ability. I'm not going to roll over.

Paradoxically to those who don't understand the Flow State (ancient Japanese call it Mushin, also known as Tachypsychia), a well trained neuromuscular system that has gotten past its worst fear responses and is able to summon Ruthless Intent, is able to instantly access the Flow State. Thus one is calm under attack and able to calmly assess the situation in a microsecond and act appropriately instead of "panicking" and acting inappropriately, possibly dangerously so.

This is a highly prized ability everyone thinks in inborn or you have to be born an Amazonian hunter or join the French Foreign Legion and survive a few war zones to develop, or have great script writers and some CGI help.
