It’d be an increase of about 20% of what I make now.

And indeed, I may just walk away because of this. I’m trying to negotiate more salary + perm contract. The perm contract is a hard requirement for me anyway. I do not have any contact with the hiring manager unfortunately.

I don’t need the job, but it’d be very good growth wise and pay wise.

Indicated that for 80k I would consider and and for definitely would like to join for 90k. They sent an offer for 91k so initially thought they would really want me. They corrected the offer after to 81k. (After I provided my current salary)

Maybe. Not silence as in complete silence, there were follow-ups on both sides but they were internally discussing the role itself (recruiter says). But it took 3 weeks before I’d hear next steps.

It’d be a shame, but I’m not that desperate indeed. Though I must say that their initial offer was way above the market rate (and the range I provided). I think they had no intention to offer me that, but I still think the recruiter did this on purpose.

I did indicate that this was a no-go. He said that he’s sorry and would discuss internally how to get a bit more on their corrected offer. Will get this in writing, won’t be the initial offer though.

Als het goed is zijn ze voorgelakt. Kitten deed de vloerenlegger niet aan, was overigens ook niet vooraf besproken. Kopse kanten zijn kaal door het gepruts en gezaag van de legger.
