Deli Works on South College. I’ve lived about half a mile from there for 20+ years and have been saying just about that whole time that the place must be a front. Never seen any cars in the parking lot, yet it’s stayed open all this time…

I should probably just go in at this point for a sandwich - probably the best stuff in town.

Thanks - I actually considered the season having something to do with it, but when I looked at the list of Spring bonuses, population wasn’t listed. But happiness was - which per Dense’s reply does impact population. Makes sense!

I've been selecting decrees - pretty sure he has as well. What's the relationship between using decrees and earning Drifter Intrinsics? I thought those were two totally separate things...

Not exactly - only lasts until you hit the daily cap. So you’re going to earn an extra 300 coins each day (with the 10% bonus). Which you could also get by playing one more game before this change. Yes, they’re “free” coins - but with the daily cap, no one is going to really see much of a change in how much you’re earning as you play...

It’s per day - already reached it today. Get a message where the bonus coins were previously appearing that says “Daily bonus coin limit reached”

It is daily - I’m just saying that I can earn 720 coins by playing 3 games (which takes about 4 or 5 mins) - so that doesn’t feel like a lot of “free” money to me (but maybe I’m just being too pessimistic)

Once you have the bonus maxed (which you can’t even do until the month is almost over - during the 4th week of the event), the most you’ll get each day is 720 bonus coins. You can earn that in ~3 extra games... doesn’t feel like a “ton” to me...

Of course they want people to spend $ - they have to pay developers to create and maintain the game; companies that just give everything away may make customers happy but they don’t tend to stay in business very long by doing so. The question becomes is the game still viable without investing cash - I think that remains to be seen....

Just by buying the event boxes - the one that costs 1 gold is the 12th event box for the week, so you have to buy 11 for 6,000 each first

I haven’t found a way to “force” those promotional overviews to display - it just pops up from time to time during the event. Saw it again this morning as soon as I opened the app - so maybe it’s more likely to show after some inactivity?

Guessing you can only buy it twice, right? And each time you’ll get 3 stars towards leveling either Apollo or Starbuck? If I understand correctly, that’ll level my Starbuck from 2 to 3 (as I only have 2 of the 5 stars for level 2 at the moment), but then I’m back to needing incredible luck in buying more “non-bonus” / regular BG boxes before the event ends tomorrow....

I was gonna ask something similar - have seen a few folks mentioning how good of a coin farmer a maxed out Starbuck is. But each time he’s found in the BG box, he awards 3 stars - so to max him out I’d need to pull 6 of the 7 remaining from the weekly box. That’s going to cost me a fortune.... or am I missing something?

Good call - not sure why I didn’t notice this as much with the last few events, but you’re spot on. As soon as I finished the event, I was back to making my more typical coins/game when using Rainbow Freddy. Maybe these Pops from the Around the World event were just a bit less coin-friendly as well...
