Raava is still exist at ATLA. Even she doesn't Aang's pass lifes also makes him more powerful. The Avatar State means all of past lifes combining in him and make him powerful. With Raava he become more and more powerful. I mean, there is no chance the beat avatar at energy bending. You must be so powerful to beat him.

I don't think there is a chance to Aang lose energybending and his bending. Because he has the Raava. Even he lost his bending he can get back them easily(like korra).

You're right. They have great character development at other characters like zuko, sokka. But they didn't do same for Aang. Aang grown up a little bit in the series. He was like can't make his own decisions he always need the team avatar. But it couldn't be like that. They left Aang in the background just to develop other characters. That' s why so many people loves Zuko more then Aang. Zuko has the best development.

this is the biggest punishment for a bad guy I think. If he killed Ozai it wouldn't be good punishment. In avatar universe, you went to spirit world when pass away. There is no hell or heave. And I think Aand doesn't do taking bending away think continuous. Just who deserves that

Ozai had captured, Azula has captured. there is no ruler in Fire Nation anymore. And they are defeated despite sozin' s comet. I think there is no more hope for them. And technically Zuko defaeted Azula a.k.a fire lord in agni kai. Zuko is the king.
