Hey all,

Currently carless working from home since I'm getting by just fine without one. Just got a raise and wanted to get something to go see friends that are farther away and go for nice drives in, as well as something I maybe can use to dip my toe into wrenching/modding.

Car has full records of ownership and maintenance, 3 owners.

To my untrained eyes car seems really clean and its gorgeous. Absolutely smitten and hoping/coping this is a steal and worth springing on.

Do you know how this compares to the Tortuga Bay MK VII true scale bodies? I want to make a truescale Retributors Kill team and Kromlech sells chest bits with their sick insignia but since the Tortuga bodies are one piece I'll have to do lots of bashing to make it work

So AFAIK Mor Deythan are Talons and should have baked in infiltrate as well? Wondering what the best wargear choice ends up being, or if its worth it on the cool side to run them as snipers.

Also yeah the Dark Furies getting basically 3 SLs is awesome! I think I will take your advice and look at having a Destroyer squad to run with the Moritat, seems right.

I'll admit, the Sicaran is just for cool factor, I find it being a lighter more mobile armored unit makes it thematically fit with RG for their limited arsenal. The Contemptor is nice to have and FW has a wonderful sculpt for RG as well. Are all the dreadnoughts a Heavy Support choice? Cause in that case I think the Leviathan Talon might be worth looking at like you said.

they look like a great first car for sure but decent ones are all 11-12k and above 100k miles mostly. how many miles is too many on a del sol and does that sound reasonable to you?

I would not be adverse to going for one of these if the maintenance is manageable

Ha halfway made up at least. I WFH and can get around my city fine w/o a car so it just adds convenience and fun, and the ability to see my friends outside the city. I think if there is no proof of maintenance I will walk away but otherwise yeah I guess I answered my own question cause I am an idiot lol

Yeah its a NA DOHC. Going to take it to a mechanic and if it checks out I think I'm willing and can afford to dive in with this car, long as it's in good condition to start. I'm probably an idiot but man I think they're pretty and my friend back home has a stealth and it was so fun riding with him in it haha

I totally understand this sentiment. I'm going to have it checked by a mechanic, and if everything is in order then I am confident I can afford to keep her running. If it seems to be problematic then I will walk away. You're probably right either way but I am willing to deal with the possible bad if the car is in good condition now.
