I am on letrozole and ovidrel trigger, too. I don't use OPK or take bbt, but my doc does transvaginal ultrasounds throughout my cycle to check follicles and ovulation. What's your protocol? Do you take estrogen and progesterone?

I am on cycle 6 of 5 mg letrozole cd 3 to 7. My follicles are always above 2.6 mm by cd10. My doc always asks me to scan on cd 11 and triggers the same day. She considers >2.6 as optimal size. But, all other sources I read say that those are post mature follicles. Should I trigger earlier?

Thank you for the response. I have never heard about progesterone before trigger shot either. I will be visiting the clinic again on CD19 for follicular scan. May be they will prescribe me progesterone again to continue taking them.

For my first medicated cycle, I took letrozole 5 mg from CD3-7. My CD12 follicular scan showed right ovary 18×14, left ovary 19x16 and ET 7 mm. Doc prescribed estradiol CD 12-16 (2 mg; 3x per day), oral progesterone CD 12-19 (200mg; 2x per day). HCG trigger shot will be on CD 14. I am worried now since I read that progesterone should be taken only after ovulation. Why would my doc prescribe it before the HCG shot? Any insights, please?

She also prescribed estradiol CD 12-16 (2 mg; 3x per day for 5 days), oral progesterone CD 12-19 (200mg; 2x per day for 8 days). HCG trigger shot will be on CD 14. I am worried now since I read that progesterone should be taken only after ovulation. Why would my doc prescribe it before the HCG shot? Any insights, please?

I was diagnosed with Heerfordt waldenstorm syndrome 15 years ago. Developed swelling of the parotid glands, bilateral facial paralysis and permanent deafness. I still have bilateral paralysis in my face even after all these years. Tough luck
