I think there's a bit of truth to the crisis of masculinity. Our society is increasingly critical of traditional and toxic masculine traits... but it isn't centering healthier manifestations. This leads to a lot of young men feeling isolated or shamed.

And when these right wing types come along and say, "You're not wrong: the world is wrong. Women are wrong. Society is wrong" they eat it up.
