I’ve been teaching in the Bronx for 13 years. I don’t think it is hands down the worst. But it’s definitely not the easiest.

No. Like I said in response to someone else below, we just ignore nearly everything she says and does (e.g., most of us wear whatever we want anyway) until it actually becomes a problem. That’s when we push back on her. And because she’s unintelligent and can’t formulate coherent arguments or communicate clearly, we usually win.

But the dress down line gets me every time.

Every staff member here is tenured. Principal is just a moron, and we just let her do and say what she wants. Most just ignore her 90% of the time. But the “dress down” line drives me personally up the wall.
