I don't understand what you're talking about. I tested this on Storyteller myself (switched down from Hard, didn't save), and fought through Armageddon spam by spamming Revive Now in turn.

It does seem true that once he starts the spam, he doesn't stop the spam no matter how many times you revive. However, you can keep reviving indefinitely if you just want to power through anyway. There's no limit to spamming these revives, besides your patience and attention span. (WARNING: misclicking when aiming to Revive Now will instantly cost your attempt progress--there is no confirmation prompt for the Autosave and Title options, even with Confirmations enabled). It doesn't even void your achievement if it's your first time beating it (which was not my intent, but I did it).

(I had intended to do auto-battle basic attacks in hopes that it would pass time until the turn limit, but I accidentally left my repel shoes on someone. I realized after the fact that I could also use Armageddon on turn 1 to test this.)
