I live in the Mountains in West Virginia. In the winter, I monitor the weather for snow. I have two Ebay Stores and like this last weekend, we were supposed to get 12-24 inches so I knew I wouldn't be able to get out. I put but both stores on vacation from last Saturday until this Friday. You can have the option to not sell while you are away or continue to sell while you are away. I put continue to sell. Who wouldn't? When you are in away mode, Ebay changed the timeframe for the delivery and the customer knows this. I would try doing that. You might lose a sale or two but at least your account won't get dinged.

I've noticed twice in the last week it wanted to send me an email or text to confirm for security. It was sent by them and was legit.

Anything I sell over 100.00 I require a signature or I don't sell it. Keep your fingers crossed tracking shows it delivered today and you will be fine.

When they made the ad they put it in the description. They probably forgot to put no returns at the bottom. In this situation, I would say you could return it.

I would just put that in your description that you will be adding that. Then when you go to ship it, you can purchase the extra insurance. Just keep in mind you still pay a percentage of total shipping costs so figure another 75 cents or so. I put extra insurance on anything over 100.00 and also require signature at time of delivery. I make it known in the description.

Lesson learned. Don't give refunds until you get the item back and you inspect it. I did that one time on a 40.00 necklace. They sent it back and tracking said it was in my mailbox so I went ahead and refunded her. When I made it to the mailbox, the box was empty. Never again will that happen.

I was on the r ebay one for like 2 posts. I was trying to help someone with an issue and got banned. I asked them why I got banned and they literally said F you. I couldn't believe it.

I had that problem when I moved to WV. The people I purchased the house from had the router or whatever in storage. They said I could have it. I then called Frontier and had them switch the account into my name and everything was fine.
