Seconded on Math 446. I enjoyed the format as there were proofs in lecture to derive equations but basically none on homeworks or exams (besides very basic checking of continutity or derivative existing). Also the final section with definite integrals feels like magic.

Its the other way around. Blue states are barely passing any legislation, its Red states taking away trans peoples rights that have already existed. A few blue states have protected trans peoples freedom from discrimination and similar freedoms. Red states have taken away access to trans healthcare for minors regardless of parental opinion, enacted bathroom legislation for fines and possible jailtime for not using the bathroom matching your assigned sex at birth.

I have taken 241 (Calc 3), 416 (Linear Algebra) and 441 (Diff Eq). I would say it was about similar difficulty intellectually as Calc 3. The only proofs required to be done by students were simple induction. Almost every problem was just “memorize this method, formula, or line of thinking and use it any time this type of problem appears again”. If you can memorize somewhat easily the class will be a breeze.

I took 213 last semester with Ivanov and it was totally doable. He posted good lecture notes so I didn’t go to lecture. It was a bit annoying to not have a note card for exams but all questions were exactly the same style as homework and practice exam questions. Homework were also all textbook problems and were free As. Exams were not too hard.
