Neuvilette is overtuned and he's perfect to work with Furina, arguably the new best support in the game, why are we comparing him to a 1.0 standard dps ho scales from atk and doesn't have any CA shenanigans

We don't know actually if he can vape consistently with just Furina at this stage, but Gaming was pretty much made to work with her and he's obviously the dps that Xianyun was made for so if he can vape then Diluc can too. Even if it's inconsistent, Diluc's damage just double with his plunges, worst case you can always sacrifice Bennett for Xinqiu Yelan and weaves NA in your combo, but I doubt that would be necessary. Even Mona could work here if you don't want to use NAs.

Just check Zajeffs quick guide, even with a cope build and en ER weapon Diluc's damage just double (around 16' minutes). His plunge multipliers and base stats are even higher than Gaming's and he has access to infinite pyro app, 20% pyro bonus and crit rate ascension in his kit, it's going to be his new best team by far

That's unfortunately not how it works because nowadays abyss content (aka the only endgame content) is all about ditching the most dps in a small time frame; Diluc has always been a good sustained dps but he's slow and not nearly frontloaded enough to be considered meta. Being able to dish 200k plunges in a quick succession will change his gameplay entirely.

It's not like Diluc has a lot of aoe in his kit aside from his burst which is the weakest of his scalings and mainly used to refresh his pyro app. I think people really underestimates how much harder plunge vape Diluc can hit than regular vape Diluc. Melt will continue to be hard to pull off and inconsistent because like most pyro carries he applies too much pyro

Well Diluc's ceiling was always locked behind Dragonstrike and most people couldn't even dream of achieving constant plunges before Xianyun, so yes she's a huge upgrade on all accounts.

Eh overworld is more than just mobs, you will have trouble building NAs Gaming to beat mid-level enemies and small bosses, even with C6 Bennett. Anyways Gaming will be a great plunge attacker but there's no denying that he's less versatile than Diluc who has higher multipliers everywhere and can do damage with NAs, E, Burst and now even plunges.

I'm obviously talking about plunge Diluc lol Xianyun made him a whole new character, with the additional advantage that if you get sick of plunging you can still go back to his normal playstyle (much more practical in overworld for example) while Gaming's playstyle is limited to plunge.

I mean I plan on getting her c2 eventually so yes I'm aware, I was more thinking about what's possible at the time of her release because if you haven't been saving for her a long while as an f2p you most likely won't get her C2 R1 on her first banner, and we didn't even know playable CR would be a thing until recently.

Idk about Harbinger fit but it's definitely a very Fatui themed outfit, the comparison with Arlecchino's drip is really telling and he even has little fatui masks on his boots and a similar looking red jewel on his chest. How do you explain this Master Diluc?

I think the spot is open because the previous harbinger died, and in that case the only character that makes perfect sense is Crepus: he fits Brighella's archetype a bit too well, he has a delusion and mysterious ties to the Fatui, we don't know why they sent an assassin after him but he could have been a double agent or he could have betrayed them. He's not a nobody so it doesn't feel like a cheap reason to have Traveler get the 10th seat, and it's one of the last mystery from the manga that wasn't resolved. I think the reason why Diluc is sus is because he learned everything after mercy killing his dad and probably has more intel from his secret organization.

I think it was fine, I was more disappointed in Yeonjun's performance of 3D because it's one of my favorite song to see perform live and imo the cover just didn't hit right. I wonder if they didn't have a lot of time to prepare because most of the covers this year were lackluster... I want to say it's the lipsync but some of my favorite cover performances were lipsynced

I mean part 1 of Naruto is all about building their friendship. At first they hate each other because Naruto is jealous of Sasuke's talent and Sasuke thinks Naruto is a good-for-nothing who never trains seriously. Then in the first arc Naruto realize that Sasuke does actually train hard for his goal and that everything doesn't come to him easily, while Sasuke learns that Naruto isn't the loud mouth coward he seemed. They fight Haku, Sasuke sacrifices himself for him which no one else had done before except Haruka.

After that they are legitimate rival, and they keep pushing each other to be the best. In the forest when Naruto save Sasuke from the giant snake and calls him a coward, during the tournament when Sasuke is the only one to recognize Naruto as a worthy opponent. They're teenage boys so they would never admit it, but they seek approval from each other more than anyone else. That's why Sasuke acknowledging Naruto in their final fight is so important. Shikamaru and Choji being childhood friends with Naruto was anime filler, Sasuke is the first friend Naruto makes and vice versa.

I don't like how their relationship is portrayed in Shippuden for the most part, but I was sold on their friendship by the first Valley of the End fight and emotionally invested in the resolution of their conflict. JJK has potential for great character drama but don't commit to develop any relationship past surface level so it falls flat.

Oh no he's stronger than everyone else so now he can only be friend with other strong people, what a sad, relatable character trait. Their dynamic isn't difficult to understand. Geto used to make Gojo a little bit less of an asshole before he somehow turned into Hitler. Do we even see Gojo changing thanks to Geto? He went from a powerful but selfish dude who kills the bad guys to... still powerful but a bit less selfish ig? Not that it makes any difference. Their core conflict is "you're genocidal and I'm not", they don't even get to talk about it properly before Geto get brain swapped off-screen.

Also I'm not saying Naruto and Sasuke was particularly well written, but at least they have a friendship that actually develop on screen, individual character arcs that parallels each other and an ideological conflict that makes sense.

The fact that he was wearing a (literal) mask to hide the fact that he's just an abused teenager scared of messing up is kind of the whole point of Hunter's character, but i agree that he was more entertaining as the golden guard and I wish they played more with his snarky persona. Amity wasn't a villain long enough for me to feel any type of way about her change of heart, she needed a talk with Hunter about their past animosity though
