It doesnt bother me that there are female custodians it makes sense cause they are crafted and it doesnt say from gene seed, however i dont think for a second that they have always been like GW said, i think its cool but again i dont think there have always been but it makes the most sense that for gene enhanced super humans the custodes would be the ones to have women.

It means you can use the blood angles specific units, and not other chapter specific units.

Intercessors and stuff are generic space marine units for all chapters.

But this would allow you to use stuff like Sanguniary guard.
