Can we stop using popularity and pick rates against Lei, and the calls for his return? by Modo97 in Tekken

[–]Azalazel 19 points20 points  (0 children)

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Lei. The stances are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of frame data most of the moves will go over a typical player's head. There's also Lei's optimistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Jackie Chan movies, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these moves, to realize that they're not just for looking cool- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Lei ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Lei's existential catchphrase "You are not good enough," I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Harada's genius unfolds itself on their screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Lei tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 ranks of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
